When it comes to cooking sausages, the type of casing can influence both how they look and how you prepare them. Traditional casing sausages, which often have a pleasing curve, are versatile and can be enjoyed BBQ'd, pan-fried, or baked. Make sure to cook them until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit for safe consumption. On the other hand, collagen casing sausages, known for their straight appearance, can also be BBQ'd, air-fried, or baked, but they too should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
